Edward Beaumont Chief Executive Officer  Edward Beaumont is a co-founder of CoreTech Consulting Group, Inc., and was named chief executive officer in 1995. He is responsible for setting and managing strategic direction for the firm. Since the firm's founding, Beaumont has consulted with large corporations, providing strategic level management consulting in the application of new and emerging technologies. He has been instrumental in the successful completion of several multi-million-dollar projects. Widely recognized throughout the industry for his combination of management experience and technical knowledge, Beaumont began his career in the banking industry as a manager for First Pennsylvania Bank (now First Union). He was appointed to a series of progressively more responsible positions for First Pennsylvania and was the youngest executive in the company's history to be named a senior vice president. Beaumont then made a decision to switch careers to pursue technology and its applications in business. He resigned as vice president and joined First Pennsylvania's management information systems division as a programmer trainee. Beaumont completed the two-year training program, joined information services for First Pennsylvania and within a year proposed that he start a new technology division. He was named vice president of information services responsible for all strategic planning and implementation of new technologies for the bank. In 1990, Beaumont joined Ziff Technologies in Wayne, PA, as manager of consulting services, where he designed and managed a highly successful worldwide office systems network for an international pharmaceuticals company. He formed his own company in January 1992 and founded CoreTech that same year. Beaumont graduated Cum Laude from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He earned a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Drexel University. He was honored as Drexel's Outstanding Alumni in 1992, and in 1994 was named to the school's Advisory Council for the College of Information Studies. [ About CoreTech
