KING OF PRUSSIA, PA, September 25, 1995 Charles P. Pizzi,
President of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce announced CoreTech Consulting
Group, Inc., has been awarded the "CHASE Emerging Business of the Year Award"
sponsored by the Chamber and Coopers & Lybrand. Entering its third year in business,
CoreTech, a leading information management consulting firm specializing in helping large
organizations plan and implement new technologies, experienced a 300 percent increase in
revenues and employment in 1994 and anticipates $9 million in revenues by year-end 1995.
CoreTech President David Moore said, "It is very flattering to have the Chamber
recognize our phenomenal growth with this award. We are grateful for the recognition and,
as a new member of the local business community, look forward to further expanding our
involvement with the Chamber." Moore and his partners, Edward Beaumont, chief
executive officer, and Mario DeMarco, chief operating officer, started CoreTech to fill a
void in the consulting industry by focusing on assisting large companies with managing
technology change. As a result of the partners vision, the firm is particularly well
regarded for its ability to balance the benefits and risks associated with new
technologies while protecting clients current infrastructure investments.
CHASE, the Chambers Association of Small Enterprises, first introduced the award 13
years ago to recognize outstanding small businesses in the greater Philadelphia region.
Criteria for the award includes: being a member of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of
Commerce, being in business between three to five years, and employing fewer than 100
people. Also, a major part of the criteria is demonstrated growth in sales and employees
through proven business strategies.
CoreTech will officially receive its award at the CHASE Annual Awards Extravaganza at the
Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Philadelphia, November 10, 1995. |
