Philadelphia, PA, March 3, 1999 —  Technology consultants from the East Coast and Mid-West regions, and their families, will converge on Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute early this month, for a day of education and fun. It is all part of CoreTech Consulting Group’s first "Competency Day," designed as a way to bring their employees together to share experiences, discuss technology trends and have some fun, too.

The event will take place March 6th at the Franklin Institute, beginning at 8 a.m., and is an example of the commitment CoreTech routinely makes to its employees, by focusing on a combination of continuing education, as well as a balance between work and family.

CoreTech, recently featured in articles in both Inc. and Solutions Integrator magazines, will conduct day-long training seminars for its consultants, focusing on topics such as Microsoft® SQL Server™ 7.0, Lotus® Notes R5, and Year 2000 legal issues. At the same time, their families will have the opportunity to experience the Franklin Institute’s various interactive displays, such as its CyberZone and the new RoboMania exhibit.

The families will come together that evening for a special presentation of the movie "Olympic Glory," presented at the Institute’s Omnimax™ theatre followed by a reception in Franklin Hall.
